About Tier 1 Data System
Tier 1 Data System is a Marysville, Washington company that sells refurbished electronics and IT hardware online. We’ve been at it for more than five years, and our team of 35+ people tests, lists, packs, and ships every order.
Our story
We started with a simple idea. Plenty of good electronics get replaced long before they stop working. A console, a pair of headphones, or an SSD can have years of life left, and the right buyer can get it for much less than the price of new.
So we built a store around that idea. We find quality used electronics, test them, describe them honestly, and sell them online at fair prices. Over the past five years we’ve grown from a small operation into a team of more than 35, but the goal is the same: sell tech you can trust.
What we sell
We’re a refurbished electronics store, so our shelves cover the things people use every day, plus hardware for the office.
How we work
Buying used tech online takes some trust, so we try to make every step easy to understand.
Our team
More than 35 people work at Tier 1 Data System. Some of us test and photograph products. Some pack boxes and get orders out the door. Others answer your emails and sort out problems when they come up. We work out of Marysville, Washington, and most of us have been around long enough to know the products well. When you write to us, you’re talking to the people who handle your order.
Why this matters to us
Electronics are expensive to make and hard on the planet when they get thrown away. Every refurbished product that finds a new owner is one less item in a landfill and one less new device that needs to be built.
It’s also about fairness. Good technology shouldn’t cost a fortune. We want students, families, gamers, and small businesses to get the gear they need at a price that makes sense. That’s why we also offer R2 responsible recycling for equipment that has reached the end of its life.
